Microsoft has released an Update for Word 2007 which removes a custom XML tagging implementation. This update is part of a court-ordered requirement which Microsoft must comply with. Installing this update means that Word will no longer read custom XML elements in DOCX, DOCM, or XML files, but this is not a feature commonly used by most people. You should not install this update unless otherwise indicated to you by Microsoft.
