Mozilla has released Version 3.6.8 of the Firefox browser. This version fixes a stability issue.

VLC Media Player 1.1.1

The free VLC Media Player has been updated to Version 1.1.1. This version fixes performance issues with GPU decoding using DxVA2 on ATI GPUs when combined with Catalyst 10.7, as well as a range of other fixes.

Microsoft Security Essentials Beta

Microsoft has released a Public Beta of the next version of Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) anti-malware. The limited beta requires registration, and is available on a first-come first-served basis.

Word 2007 Update

Microsoft has released an Update for Word 2007 which contains stability and performance improvements.
